The PTMC Cross Maxius is for those members of the IDL that attain the rank of #1 on the First Tier of competition. These members with this high honor are considered to be the best in the world for competitive Head to Head Descent. Learn to fear the members that wear this proudly around their neck. The PTMC Cross Maxius can only be awarded one time, and can only be awarded through Combat. If a member happens to attain the #1 rank through Succession, as a result of the former #1 rank holder quitting the IDL, retiring into inactivity, or otherwise relinquishing his position, this award will not be given. Players rising to #1 via Succession must successfully defend the title five consecutive times to earn this award. |

The PTMC Vendetta Medal is for those members who win a Vendetta against another member from their Tier. This medal signifies a point of honor between true rivals, and shows the tact and cunningness of the victor. Each vendetta includes three grueling matches played between rivals on levels of their mutual consent, and victory can range in meaning from proof of total domination of one over the other, to a statement made by a long-running underdog that the tides are finally turning in his favor, to being the decisive tiebreaker showing just who has the edge in a long-standing, heated rivalry between evenly matched opponents. Members with this award have successfully defended their honor in the IDL's most demanding test of wills, and will do so readily again if called upon. There are five signifiers to the Vendetta Medal, one for each time it is awarded. After the fifth time this award has been received, there will be no effect on your profile. |

The PTMC Gauntlet is a trophy of victory that can only be earned by First Tier players during a UT Gauntlet Challenge. The challenging player throws down the gauntlet by selecting a game, level, and conditions of his choice (according to the rules) and daring the challenged player to play him there. If the challenger wins, he picks up his gauntlet and moves on, earning no particular glory. However, if the challenged player should win, then he gets to keep the challenger's gauntlet as a prize. First Tier pilots who have earned a gauntlet have schooled a dangerous opponent in hostile territory, and are not to be trifled with. For each gauntlet earned after the first, a signifier will be added to the ribbon on the player's profile, up to the maximum signifier indicating five awards earned. |

The PTMC Standard of Valor is awarded to those pilots who display a fearless pursuit of their enemy, even on unfamiliar ground. Simply put, if you happen to win a match in your opponent's listed Home Level, in D1, D2, or D3, you are awarded this high honor. Around the PTMC Bar & Grill, the pilots refer jokingly to this medal as the "Busdriver" award...since you take your opponent to school. This award has five signifiers, one for each time you manage to take someone to school in their Home Level. After the 5th time you receive this award, it will not affect your profile. |

The PTMC Standard of Endurance is awarded to First Tier pilots who display skill and endurance by defeating five or more First Tier opponents consecutively. Win streaks are measured without concern for exhibition matches. Pilots able to put together a long enough string of victories to earn recognition should be viewed as extremely dangerous adversaries, well-versed in combat and able to defend their honor on any turf. Only a pilot's longest-ever win streak applies, and streaks may not be added together in any way. The longer the winning streak, the greater the player's endurance. There are five signifiers to this award, each showing a greater degree of endurance, from Tough (5 UT wins in a row) to Strong (8 wins) to Mighty (11 wins) to Tenacious (15 wins), and for Herculean pilots (who have won 20 or more UT matches in a row) the fifth and highest degree of recognition for endurance. |

The PTMC Cross of Excellence is awarded to pilots who have achieved an ultimate victory over a First Tier player, holding the opponent scoreless in a completed IDL match. Certain rules may apply in determining what is or is not a completed match, in cases of forfeit. Simply put, this award is the Holy Grail of the IDL. There is nothing more difficult than to hold a First Tier player scoreless in a match to 20 points, and only other players of First Tier caliber will stand any chance whatsoever of accomplishing it. For each instance where a player shuts out a First Tier opponent in a completed match, the Cross of Excellence will be awarded. There is no limit to the number of these awards a player may earn, other than the magnitude of the achievement itself. |

The PTMC Vertigo Medal is no longer in commission. Players who have received this award in the past have successfully shut out a Second Tier opponent in a reported match. This award was named after the infamous pilot "Vertigo1" who saved the PTMC mining operations five years ago...and disappeared during the reconaissance mission he was assigned thereafter. "Vertigo1" was known for his devastating tactics, and the members that hold this decommissioned award are definitely not to be taken lightly. There were five signifiers to the Vertigo Medal, one for each time it was awarded. After the fifth time this award had no effect on a player's profile. |

The PTMC Crusader Medal is awarded to a member of the IDL each month. This honor distinguishes the most active and varied pilot during the past calendar month. Matches are tallied according to unique opponents. Pilots who play the most matches against the most pilots (exhibition and regular matches) show their ability to adapt. The PTMC Elite demonstrate their greatness by seeking out true competition and adaptation in heavy battle. The pilot who bears this award shows leadership and deliberate bravery. There are five signifiers to the Crusader Medal, one for each time it is awarded. After the fifth time this award has been received, there will be no affect on your profile. |

The PTMC Badge of Courage is awarded to those pilots who display a fearless pursuit of their enemy, even on unfamiliar ground, regardless of the outcome. It takes courage to tackle an IDL opponent on one of his listed Home Levels. While most awards and medals are handed out only to the victors, this one stands apart in recognizing the efforts and the bravery of any and all competitors who engage opponents on the opponents' favored turf. The PTMC Badge of Courage will be awarded to any pilot who plays five matches in the listed Home Levels of his opponents. For every additional five matches played in an opponent's home level, one signifier will be added to the award, up to a maximum of five. After 25 matches played in the Home Levels of opponents (25 attempts to earn a Busdriver medal) it will no longer affect your profile. |
