Descent on the Net (Lag/Loss FAQ):
The Descent Kali Bible. This is the authority on lag and loss. If you haven't read it, you must. Think of it as required reading for the IDL. It was written when D1 was in
its heyday, so it might be a bit dated.
The Warp Core: The warpcore is probably the largest collection of official Descent stuff on the net. Besides having a huge categorized database full of Descent links, it also is the site of the Official Descent FAQ and Descent Hacker's Resource. If you can't find out your questions about Descent or Descent sites here....just give up. Gwar's Descentia: Finally...a news page worth linking in the world of Descent. Gwar is really pulling out all the stops here, think the Descent scene is dead? Well go check out this awesome site full of interviews, IDL happenings, and other news that any PTMC pilot would like to know.
PlanetDescent:
The mega Descent news site. They do a lot of cool stuff like spotlighting levels, new articles, and walk throughs. A definite must for any
serious Descent player. They also offer hosting to some great sites.
Descent 2 Hangout:
ZappaFan's Descent 2 Hangout is an invaluable resource. ZappaFan works hard to review new Descent 2 levels and weed out the good from the bad
when it comes to new levels you may not have heard about yet. Also has exclusive interviews with all the top level makers, including
those who work for the makers of Descent. Plus news and more.
Outrage Entertainment:
The makers of D3...and super nice guys. You will definately want to check out this site to keep abrest on what you will
be doing all off 1999...playing D3 ;-). New screenshots are up, along with "plan" sections of individual programmers. Visit, and phear.
Volition, Inc.:
The makers of D4...and super nice guys. What? D4??? But D3 isn't even out yet! Will the IDL still be around for D4? Only
time will tell. You can go here and check out the pre-preliminaries if you like.
